Temporal Field
The Temporal Field is a sophisticated defensive mechanism employed by the TAC, creating a shimmering barrier in front of the unit that connects to other times outside the current Excession. It absorbs incoming fire by diverting energy across fractured timelines, giving your constructs a critical edge in sustained engagements.
Phase Shift
The Phase Shift ability allows the TAC to momentarily slip between different temporal planes, effectively rendering themselves intangible and immune to incoming attacks. The precise execution of Phase Shift can turn the tide of battle, allowing TAU to outmaneuver and outflank their opponents with temporal precision.
F.C.S — Fire Control System
The Fire Control System (F.C.S) is a shoulder-mounted cannon for the TAC, designed to engage targets independently. When deployed, the F.C.S operates autonomously, scanning the battlefield and locking onto enemy targets with lethal precision. This system allows the TAC to simultaneously focus on its primary mission while the F.C.S provides additional firepower, enhancing the unit's overall combat effectiveness.
M.E.D — Mobile Explosive Device
The Mobile Explosive Device (M.E.D) ability equips TAC with deployable drones carrying high-yield explosives. These drones are dropped from a specialized backpack and roll through the environment towards their targets. Remotely controlled by the TAC, the drones navigate the battlefield, maneuvering into optimal detonation points to deliver devastating explosions. The M.E.D hardware provides strategic flexibility, allowing TACs to engage in indirect attacks, clear fortified positions, and create chaos among enemy ranks.
